Lubricator, valves & cylinders
Fill with 10W non-detergent oil. Open max at startup — adjust to 1 drop/valve cycle after warm-up.
Must operate freely before air on — spring-return valves must snap back
Check for oil film on all extended rods — if dry, oil immediately
Check oil level — no metal shavings (if found, notify plant manager)
No leaks, broken, or crimped hoses
Grease ALL fittings — required daily — lithium base grease
Exhaust must be clear — ball vibrators: NO oil

Clean strainer, meter turning, surge standpipe OK
PERMIT: Must operate during ALL aggregate handling — Condition 1f.iii

Must move freely in manhole cover
No wear holes, missing caulk — overflow pinch gates free — warning lights OK
PERMIT: No visible emissions at outlet — if observed, Method 9 required (Cond. 2d). Check hopper — remove if 2/3 full.
